We have had an extremely hot summer in Israel. In the last week or so, there has been a slight drop

Bishop Paul Lanier comes to us live with a prayer for the six hostages murdered in Gaza.

Now free, Louis Har speaks with writers at JNS and shares his hope that all the hostages come home and that the families of those taken stay strong. Har spent 129 days in captivity by Hamas in Gaza after being kidnapped on October 7:

The Fellowship supports 21 soup kitchens in Israel, which are all the more important as tensions and violence heat up in Israel’s north. And we are increasing our emergency funding. The Jerusalem Post tells us more:

This week Fellowship Ambassador Bishop Paul Lanier is in Poland visiting the former Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz, where the Jewish people were isolated and murdered in the Holocaust. Confronted in person by this dark chapter in history, Bishop tells us he’s left with no words, only tears, and asks us to pray. 

Even in the middle of a war on Israel, The Fellowship continues to bring new olim (immigrants) home to Israel. This time from Ukraine! Even though these Ukrainian olim know Israel is at war, they still decided to take a leap of faith.
