We must learn to give others the benefit of the doubt. If they have always been good to you, don’t condemn them on account of one action.

The angel blocking Balaam’s way was actually God’s angel of mercy, trying to help Balaam, even though it frustrated and angered him at the time.

It’s only when we make our own flame brighter or add light to someone else that the world will become a brighter place for us all!

We should strive to overcome this very human but potentially destructive tendency to judge others negatively.

In other words, we ask God that even if we are undeserving of His provision and deliverance, He might save us for His sake, not our own.

If we joyfully thank Him for what we have instead of focusing on what we don’t have, life becomes “a continual feast” and celebration of God’s blessings.

The truth is we are all the recipients of the hidden miracles of God. Some we may later recognize, and others, we will never know about.

He teaches us that we don’t have to be perfect to be great—we just need to learn from our mistakes and keep trying.

If we focus on what we lack, we won’t notice how blessed we are. Instead, we need to look for the good in our lives, to recognize our blessings, and to express our gratitude for them.

We all will go through things in life that we simply can’t understand. But God does, and that’s all that matters.

We are on a journey until the day we arrive home, and we must learn to change our perspective from human to spiritual.

In other words, the verse is saying that God loves those who not only pursue righteousness themselves, but who also take it a step further. They encourage others to pursue righteousness as well.
