At times like this we need to remember that sometimes, when things don’t go our way, it’s the best thing to ever happen to us.

Only God can help us, only He can save us, and our destiny.

We can’t allow our sense of justice to get in the way of prudence. We need to assess foolish behaviour and whether it’s worth getting involved or not.

God’s hidden miracles may not always be evident to us, but never doubt that He, indeed, still is in the business of performing miracles for us every day.

God saw the positive motive beneath the surface of their arguing and complaining and saw that they wanted the right thing. In the end, our motives matter to God.

For people who regard themselves as unimportant, purification means remembering that every one of us is critical to God’s plan.

Pray for Jerusalem today and every day, because if we can heal the heart of the world, the rest of the body will follow.

We must be very careful and guard who — and what — we honour. We should view the honour we give as a precious resource.

We must never allow material blessings to blind us. We must use what God has given us to improve the lives of others and to bring honour to Him, not to ourselves.

Being content with what we have reflects trust in our Heavenly Father who loves us and knows exactly what we need.

The problem with complaining is that it reflects a complete lack of trust in God and His plans for us. It’s one thing to ask questions of God.
