Along with our partners on the ground, IFCJ Canada provided displaced families with gift cards

Yael Eckstein, President of IFCJ Canada was interviewed on 700 Club Canada about how The Fellowship has been on the ground in Israel helping those affected by the war, providing humanitarian aid, and how you can help through prayer and ongoing financial support.

First, The Fellowship helped to rescue this group of orphans from Alumim Children’s Home in Ukraine, when war came to their country—we evacuated them to the border and then found them safety in the Holy Land.

We’re proud to announce that once again Yael Eckstein, IFCJ Canada’s President, has been named to the Jerusalem Post’s list of 50 Most Influential Jews for her work helping provide basic needs to those in war-torn Ukraine and support to those affected by the war.

With the new school year just around the corner, most children will be starting their classes in September. But for children and families in need in the Holy Land, purchasing even basic school supplies can be challenging.

Fellowship-supported Tikva Children’s Home cares for hundreds of homeless, abandoned, and abused Jewish children in Ukraine and neighbouring regions of the former Soviet Union. When war came to Ukraine, this home had to relocate to a safer area outside of the country.

Israeli Orthodox Rabbi Tuly Weisz—founder of Israel365, an organization dedicated to educating Christians about the biblical significance of Israel—credits the pioneering bridge-building work of Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, founder of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, for ushering in this golden age of Jewish-Christian relations.

40 years ago, on May 16, 1983, Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein listened to God’s call and started The Fellowship. And today, 40 years later, and 20 years in Canada, his daughter Yael, along with Fellowship friends around the world, continue the holy work he began.
