You Bring Hope to Young Victims of Terror

It was just months ago when 12-year-old Alan was enjoying life and playing soccer with friends. He didn’t know that he was moments away from surviving one of the deadliest Hezbollah rocket attacks of last summer at a local field in Majdal Shams, Israel. This attack killed 12 innocent kids and injured many more, like Alan.
“I was near the soccer field when I heard the rocket explosion,” remembers Alan’s dad. “I ran straight to the field.”
What he saw next was any parent’s nightmare: “I saw Alan lying and bleeding on the field” Alan was rushed to the hospital, and his parents were told to prepare for the worst. After hours of waiting and uncertainty, they finally had some hope – their son was in stable condition.
But bravely enduring months of rehabilitation, Alan still faces a long road ahead, with more procedures needed due to the damage to his pelvis, spine, and eye.
Thanks to your support, IFCJ Canada has stood steadfastly by Alan’s side throughout his journey. From the very beginning, they have provided comfort, care, and hope when it was needed most. Your generosity has made an incredible difference in his life.
