Third Annual Flags of Fellowship Campaign IFCJ Canada | August 7, 2026 Photo: High Point Baptist Church The third annual Flags of Fellowship campaign invites churches, synagogues, schools, and other institutions around the world to participate in this global movement. This global memorial honours the victims, those who were taken hostage, and families affected by the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, raising a voice of unity in the face of growing anti-Semitism. Christian and Jewish communities come together to remember those who were lost and demonstrate solidarity with the Jewish people. Now in its third year, the campaign continues to grow, with Fellowship organizations worldwide on track to engage more than 2,500 participating organizations. Our President Yael Eckstein says, “What began as a memorial initiative has become a global movement of light, unity, and resilience. Flags of Fellowship has become a powerful symbol of hope and strength, giving people a meaningful way to support the Jewish people and speak out against the rise in anti-Semitism we’ve seen since October 7.” Participating institutions receive 1,200 Israeli flags to display on their grounds in memory of the 1,200 victims of the horrific terror attacks. Last year, more than 1,350 organizations participated worldwide, including 47 participating locations across Canada, resulting in more than 1.5 million flags being planted. This year, if Fellowship organizations worldwide reach their collective goal of engaging more than 2,500 participating organizations, that number could more than double to over three million flags. The campaign extends far beyond Canada and the United States, with churches, synagogues, schools, and other organizations participating in countries including Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, India, and throughout Latin America. Churches, synagogues, schools, and organizations are encouraged to enroll in this year’s Flags of Fellowship campaign at www.FlagsofFellowship.ca. Enrollment will remain open until September 13. “Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other” (Psalm 85:10).
