IFCJ Canada | February 7, 2025 (Photo: Yossi Zeliger) We are proud to announce that our President, Yael Eckstein, has been honoured with the “Woman of the Year” award at the Jaffa Institute’s annual gala. This award recognizes her long-standing partnership and The Fellowship’s commitment to providing food for Holocaust survivors, the elderly, and families in need. The Fellowship partners with the Jaffa Institute, which works to ensure food security by providing equal opportunities for disadvantaged populations. Yael later shared to her Facebook page: …My father Rabbi Eckstein began The Fellowship’s partnership with Jaffa Institute over 20 years ago…and now, it’s the next generation carrying this holy work forward of feeding the hungry…clothing the naked…sheltering the poor. And, to have my daughters, sisters, and nieces sitting by my side at this very meaningful event, was the greatest thing in the world. This award isn’t mine – it’s OURS.
