We’re saddened to hear of the passing of Joni Lamb, a longtime friend of The Fellowship and the Jewish people. My Christian Daily reports that Lamb passed away this week at the age of 65.

Daystar confirmed the news in a public statement, describing Lamb as a passionate leader whose life was devoted to sharing the Gospel through television ministry. According to the network, Lamb had been privately battling serious health issues before suffering a recent back injury that significantly worsened her condition in recent days.

Founded in 1993 alongside her late husband, Marcus Lamb, Daystar grew from a small Christian television station into one of the world’s largest faith-based broadcasting networks, reaching millions globally through satellite, cable, streaming, and digital platforms.

Over the years, Joni Lamb became one of the most recognizable faces in Christian media, hosting programs, interviewing ministry leaders, and helping shape modern Christian broadcasting.

May God comfort her family in their time of sorrow.

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12).
