School Near Tel Aviv Ravaged by Houthi Missile Warhead IFCJ Canada | December 19, 2024 The damage caused from a Ballistic missile fired from Yemen, at a school in Ramat Gan, December 19, 2024. (Photo by Erik Marmor/Flash90) After an Israeli school in Ramat Gan was hit in the middle of the night by a missile warhead, a father said: “It is lucky that there were no children here.” The Times of Israel tells us more: Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama-Hacohen estimated the damage at NIS 40 million ($11 million) and said the Ramat Ef’al elementary school would get a replacement building. The multi-disiplinary school was completely flattened after a large piece of shrapnel hit the building. As children and teachers woke up to prepare for the day at school they discovered that their school had been destroyed, leaving staff, parents, and children attending the school at a loss. Please pray for the students and teachers as they navigate the disruption and trauma of the damage.
