In the early hours of June 13, Israel pre-emptively struck Iran’s nuclear facilities—a bold and necessary act of self-defense against an imminent Iranian threat. Now, retaliatory attacks by Iran have reached Israel, and increased the prospects of citizens spending days or weeks in shelters.

Addressing the issues, President Netanyahu stated:

“In defending ourselves, we also defend others. We defend our Arab neighbours. They, too, have suffered from Iran’s campaign of chaos and carnage.”

The Fellowship is coordinating with partners to prepare for large-scale food distribution and basic needs support as the crisis escalates. We are ready to distribute food, first aid, and emergency kits to shelters, with a focus on supporting the elderly and vulnerable during extended emergencies. New immigrants (olim) are actively being assisted with resources and guidance, while also bolstering response efforts amid potential retaliation.

The Fellowship over the past year has been on the ground preparing emergency food boxes for long term stays in shelters, and continues to focus on meeting the needs of the most vulnerable, including the elderly who rely on us for their basic needs.

Right now, no one living in Israel is safe. This is especially true for Israel’s most vulnerable – the sick, the elderly, Holocaust Survivors, widows and families already living in crisis. The people of Israel need the support of faithful friends, in this time of greatest need.

Please pray for Israel’s peace and protection, and consider giving a gift of emergency aid, and help Israel’s most vulnerable during this difficult time, where access to food and resources is restricted.
