Turning Despair Into Hope
Turning Despair into Hope for Suffering Israelis
Poverty continues to be a serious and widespread problem in Israel. Recent reports show that more than 1.6 million Israelis live under the poverty line. The Fellowship's Guardians of Israel program provides lifesaving assistance to Israel's needy in the form of food, clothing, shelter, medical and emergency care, and other essentials. The Fellowship’s Guardians of Israel program responds to this desperate situation through initiatives that ease the suffering of needy Israelis by providing:
- Food distributed through soup kitchens, meal delivery, and food box programs
- Medical assistance, including prescription programs, support for doctor visits and in-home medical care
- Support for the elderly including food, medicine, and home care workers
- Emergency relief in the form clothing, food, and medical care
Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, The Fellowship’s president and founder, said, “Every day I thank God for our Guardians of Israel partners. Through their generous gifts, they are truly acting as the ‘watchmen on the walls’ of Jerusalem” (Isaiah 62:6).
Please join those who are blessing God’s people by supporting Israel through a gift to The Fellowship’s Guardians of Israel program.
