Nazi, 95, to Stand Trial for Auschwitz Crimes“The man, identified as Hubert Z., is accused of being an accessory to at least 3,681 murders over a one month period in 1944.”So many of those who committed the millions of singular murders and other crimes that comprised the Holocaust escaped justice either through actual escape or through death by old age. There are still, however, those alive who committed those crimes against Europe’s Jews and other populations, and they can and are still charged for said crimes. CNN’s Stephanie Halasz and Emily Smith report that a 95-year-old German man is to stand trial for his crimes at Auschwitz:
Anne Frank and her family arrived at the notorious Nazi camp during this time, the statement said. “The man, identified as Hubert Z., is accused of being an accessory to at least 3,681 murders over a one month period in 1944.” |
