Working Hand-in-Hand With You

Yulia

We feel so blessed to support Yad B'Yad (which means “hand-in-hand”), an organization that caters to the needs of the most desperate citizens of Israel — Holocaust survivors, single parents, lonely elderly, and new immigrants.

Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) was just celebrated early this week. But the High Holy Days continue and will conclude with Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) next week. This is the most sacred time of the year for the Jewish people and many of Israel's neediest are lining up to receive their much-needed holiday foods from The Fellowship.

This year, The Fellowship and our partners at Yad B’Yad are distributing food boxes to needy elderly and family in Israel to celebrate the holidays with dignity. Yael attended this distribution. Watch her video here.

We feel so blessed to support Yad B'Yad (which means “hand in hand”), an organization that caters to the needs of the most desperate citizens of Israel — Holocaust survivors, single parents, lonely elderly, and new immigrants. Without this critical aid, supported by funds from The Fellowship’s generous partners, these recipients would be without help and hope.

One of this organization’s biggest efforts is food distribution. Through their work, hundreds of families who would otherwise go hungry receive warm meals daily. They distribute food before important Jewish holidays, like the High Holy Days.

Learn how you can help Jews around the world celebrate the High Holy Days with dignity this year.
