Pray with Us

“But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.” (Psalm 9:18)

As summer comes to a close, we see that God has brought us all together — Fellowship friends around the world — to stand in unity for the most vulnerable in Israel, especially during times of crisis. While we may feel fearful when horrible things are happening in the world, we also must hold onto hope. This week in prayer, let us find hope in the fact that we can pray, act, and support those in need, together.

  • Pray that we will all feel God’s kindness, love, and light shining down on us, and that we find hope and strength this week as we come together in prayer for Israel and her people. “Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy” (Psalm 47:1).

  • This weekend a bus was attacked near the holiest site in the Holy City of Jerusalem. Pray that God will watch over His people. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure’” (Psalm 122:6).

  • Pray for Israeli families who are increasingly in need of financial assistance this year due to rising costs of living. “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.” (Psalms 34:10)

  • And Praise God for our committed supporters who continue to help us provide basic needs to the people of Israel this summer. “‘The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the LORD will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them’” (Isaiah 41:17).
