Many of the Holocaust survivors that we serve are not as lucky. So many are alone, isolated. They face a modern-day enemy when they nearly escaped the last. So many survivors and elderly live alone, with illness, with little or no food on an ordinary day.
And now, in a not-so-ordinary period in history, going to the grocery story could be a death sentence for these vulnerable seniors.
