From a Life of Loss to the Joy of Passover

Born in Ukraine, Viktoria worked as a teaching assistant before getting married and giving birth to a daughter. After her husband abandoned Viktoria and their young child, life continued to deliver hardship after hardship.

First Viktoria lost her apartment to fraud. Then, her left leg was amputated due to an injury. These tragedies have led to years of depression and despair.

Thanks to The Fellowship, however, Viktoria has been provided with the medication and rehabilitation equipment she requires. On top of the monthly food packages and visits from homecare workers she also receives, Viktoria was able to celebrate Passover because of the special foods provided by The Fellowship.

“I cannot imagine my life without the Jewish community,” she says, grateful that The Fellowship and our friends have allowed her to stay connected to her people and their rich faith and traditions. With the continued unrest in Ukraine, which has brought increased threats and danger to the Jewish community there, this support means more than ever.

When you give to our Passover Campaign, you help Jewish people in need truly celebrate God’s miraculous rescue of the Jews at Passover – and you help people like Viktoria know they are not abandoned by God nor forgotten by His people.

Please also consider helping impoverished people like Viktoria throughout the year by becoming one of our monthly supporters.
