Olim Welcomed to New Home in the Holy Land

The Fellowship’s latest Freedom Flight landed safely in Israel this morning, ushering 55 Ukrainian Jews from war-torn eastern Ukraine to their new home in the Holy Land.

As the olim (immigrants) entered the arrivals terminal, they were welcomed by The Fellowship’s Yael Eckstein and by students from a Fellowship-supported high school for young women from the former Soviet Union who made aliyah (immigrated to Israel) without the rest of their families.

The young women handed out food and Israeli flags to all of the happy but tired olim, and gave balloons to the children. Yael spoke with the brand-new Israelis, and her assurances that The Fellowship will see them through the transition ahead, surely warmed their hearts.

Finally the 55 olim loaded into vans that took them to their new homes, where they will start their new lives in Israel, at last free from the chaos of Ukraine and finally in the land of their forefathers.

When you support The Fellowship’s On Wings of Eagles ministry, your gift helps fulfill biblical prophecy, as foretold in the book of Isaiah: “I will beckon to the Gentiles … they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders” (Isaiah 49:22).

Together we can bring many more Jews home. Please prayerfully consider how you can help with a “Freedom Flight” today.
