Aliyah brings Jews from around the world to Israel. But The Fellowship’s commitment to new immigrants does not end when they arrive at Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv—in some ways, it really begins there.
The Fellowship recognizes the critical need to provide for the klitah, or resettlement, of Jews brought to Israel through On Wings of Eagles. Many olim (immigrants) arrive with little more than the clothes on their backs. They must learn a new language and adapt to a new culture. They need both immediate help—food, clothing, housing, medical care—and long-term assistance such as job training and placement, Hebrew language instruction and schools for their children.
On Wings of Eagles helps new immigrants become full, productive members of Israeli society by providing all these needs. By doing so, it helps immigrants help themselves—and ensures the future of the Jewish state for generations to come.
