A Family in Need Gets Help
from Guardians of Israel

Chava is a single mother of six children who only recently moved to an apartment of her own in Tel Aviv, Israel. Just six months ago she was living with her children on the streets. "My husband left us a year ago and I was not able to afford even the cheapest apartment," she says. "While I looked for a job my children and I would sleep in the park and it was the hardest point in my life."

Chava finally managed to get a consistent cleaning job so that she could afford her small rent in an apartment in the worst part of the city. Her apartment is completely dilapidated with broken windows and mold. Chava and her children sleep on the floor because they cannot afford beds and their clothes are torn and dirty.

Chava's only hope in the world comes from the Guardians of Israel's Latet project, which delivers a food package to her home each month. Latet literally saves the lives of thousands of needy Israelis, distributing 50,000 food boxes a month. "Each month we wait with anticipation for the food box which provides us with nutritious ingredients so that I can cook healthy food for my family," Chava says. "Thank you so much for this wonderful gift."

Like Chava and her children, many families in Israel rely on The Fellowship's soup kitchens, meals on wheels and food packages to eat. These families are desperate for help and have nowhere else to turn. Your gift today will literally be the difference between life and death for thousands of needy Israelis.
