Svetlana is praying she won’t be left out. She lives amid shocking poverty in a dilapidated house on a dirt road in Ukraine. She barely has enough to live on, but she also has three granddaughters who share her hunger and her tiny home!

Sadly, Svetlana’s story is representative of t thousands of Jewish elderly and children in the former Soviet Union who have been pushed to the brink of survival.
