When I hear this verse that ‘once we were slaves and now we are free,’ I think about all the different people suffering in the world, that don’t feel very free. I think about all the enemies on Israel’s border and I don’t feel like I’ve gone from slavery to freedom, to redemption. And so there has to be a deeper meaning to this...
