This week, IFCJ Canada board chair Stockwell Day is travelling to our Fellowship programs in Ukraine and Israel and meeting with the needy recipients who rely on your caring gifts.

Yael Eckstein will join Stockwell on his tour of our ministry programs. Just this past Monday, Stockwell toured Babi Yar, a ravine in Kiev and a memorial site of massacres carried out against Jews by Nazi forces. The most notorious and the best documented of these massacres took place from September 29-30, 1941, when 33,770 Jews were killed.

On Wednesday, Yael and Stockwell attended a Fellowship Freedom Flight seminar and greeted olim (immigrants) as they prepared to make their aliyah (immigration to Israel). After the seminar, they boarded a Freedom Flight along with Ukrainian refugees who were desperate to escape the fighting in the eastern regions Ukraine.

Here are some moments captured from the trip.
