“There was a festive atmosphere at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv today as 147 new olim(immigrants) from France arrived safely in Israel on the most recent Fellowship Freedom Flights.”

Today we received this message from one of our Israel staff members who was present at the arrival of the latest Fellowship Freedom Flight from France:

There was a festive atmosphere at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv today as 147 new olim(immigrants) from France arrived safely in Israel on the most recent Fellowship Freedom Flights.

Greeted by the singing and dancing of volunteers from the Bnei Akiva youth group, and the cheerful Jewish music of the Halawat Ensemble, the olim couldn't help but get caught up in the joyful spirit of the moment as they entered the terminal.

The olim told us how happy and grateful they are to the Fellowship donors who have helped bring them home to Israel. Many spoke of the fact that life in France is simply becoming unbearable for Jews in light of the spread of radical Islam.

The olim were immediately taken to buses that will bring them to a Fellowship absorption seminar to help prepare them for the first stage of their new lives in Israel, and to guarantee that their resettlement will be ultimately successful. The seminar will include a series of informative lectures about their first steps in Israel, including tips for job searching and for navigating the Israeli health care and education systems.

Learn how you can help other Jewish people in peril make aliyah (immigrate to Israel) on a future Fellowship Freedom Flight.
