“The olim feel blessed to be home in Israel, finally escaping the fighting in Ukraine”

200 olim (immigrants) arrived at Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday aboard IFCJ Canada’s Freedom Flight. Many of the refugees are from devastated regions in war-torn Eastern Ukraine.

Although tired, the olim feel blessed to be home in Israel, finally escaping the fighting in Ukraine.

Girls from the Bnei Akiva youth movement welcomed the new olim by singing and handing out Israeli flags and balloons to the children.

Fellowship staff and volunteers handed out sandwiches and water and gave the new Israelis their new identification.

Finally, the olim left the terminal, and they entered vans that took them to their new homes to start their new lives in Israel.

You can help bring the gift of rescue to desperate Jews waiting to make their aliyah (immigration to Israel). Give a Freedom Flight today.
