After the widespread violence in Israel on Tuesday, terror has struck again, this time in Jerusalem’s Old City. The Times of Israel reports that a 39-year-old Israeli man was stabbed and injured near the Holy City’s Jaffa Gate:

The victim, 39, was taken to a Jerusalem hospital with a stab wound in his back. A Haredi website, Behadrey Haredim, said the victim was an ultra-Orthodox man, but did not identify him by name.

He was treated in the field and taken to hospital by a Magen David Adom ambulance. He was fully conscious throughout the evacuation, MDA said.

The attack took place in the Ma’alot Chaldiyah alley near Jaffa Gate, police said.

The attacker, identified as a 19-year-old from the West Bank, fled the scene but was caught by police after a brief manhunt.

Please pray for the victims and a swift end to the terror in Israel.
