Try this easy and tasty treat that calls for only five ingredients…

With Passover right around the corner, we thought we’d share a quick and easy recipe using one of the popular items on the seder plate, the matzah! Try this easy and tasty treat that calls for only five ingredients.

Ingredients

  • One package Matzah
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 1 ½ Cups brown sugar
  • About 1 large bag chocolate chips
  • About 4 handfuls chopped peanuts
    *You don’t have to use peanuts, use any toppings you like!

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Line cookie sheet with tin foil, and fill the entire space with matzah.

Melt butter and add brown sugar. Keep stirring until completely mixed and bubbling.

Pour over matzah and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and cover with chocolate chips, spreading until melted.

Sprinkle generously chopped nuts (or toppings of your choice) over chocolate and gently push into chocolate.

Cool on stove then in refrigerator until hard.

Cut into bite-size pieces. These can be made ahead and stored in baggies in the freezer.
