Last week, 70 elderly men and women enjoyed a day at The Fellowship-supported elderly club in the city of Beit She’an.

20 volunteers, grade 10 students from the ORT Amirim school, and their teacher, came to bring good cheer to the elderly.

The students played games with the elderly, set up stations where they polished their nails and distributed new shoes which were donated by a local businesses.

Some of the students helped the elderly try on new shoes, and some of the students sat with the elderly while they played games and had long conversations.

The event was arranged by The Fellowship’s field coordinator in the Jordan Valley and Gilboa region, with the help of the director-general of the Association for the Elderly and the dedicated staff of the elderly club.

It was truly a joyous celebration which was enjoyed by all!
